Collina and Phong are two of the most beautiful and generous people I have ever met and I feel so blessed to have met them!! They are extremely hospitable and nothing is too much trouble. I would never dream of staying anywhere else in Coonabarabran!

On a recent road trip through NSW the car finally died in Coonabarabran of all places. The garage sent us to Poplars where we didn’t know what to expect.
What we got was two of the most beautiful, generous and most hospitable hosts that we have ever met. Once they realised our trip was over they offered us an additional free night’s stay and loan of their personal car to drive to the Warrumbungles so the kids could at least have a look around. They drove us to the bus stop to catch a bus home and also offered to keep the car in their backyard until we could tow it back. Who does that?
If a motel is judged by how it makes you feel when you leave it then this one is definitely worth five stars.

My experience at Poplars Motor Inn Coonabarabran is always good. It is one of those places on my itinerary where I really look forward to staying. It makes coming to Coonabarabran, the Warrumbungles, The Pilliga and Siding Springs even more appealing knowing you have somewhere relaxed and comfortable to stay nearby. The management are unusually amenable, friendly and accommodating. The facilities are excellent and good value. I particularly appreciate the size of their rooms and the privacy. The place is well maintained and you can see these people care about their Motel and their guests. Many other Motels could learn from them.
